Wave front LASIK is a new improved version of the traditional LASIK treatment where a three dimensional mapping of the eye is created in order to study the nuances of the eye better. This provides a more personalize eye correction technique that results in a higher success rate. But yes, this is marginally costlier than the traditional LASIK treatment, but I would say it is worth every penny.
